Vacationing in our House on the Beach

I remember being in elementary and middle schooling playing the game MASH. We’d try to read our future including our jobs, our husband, how many kids and where we lived. I always pulled for a house or mansion on the beach.  In fact most of my friends wanted to live on the beach too.

I love where I live, but I really love vacationing on the beach!

I had the opportunity to Gulf Shores, Alabama and it’s a little piece of heaven! Did you know that Alabama had 32 miles of beach? They have white sand and the gulf is beautiful!

Since 1980, Kaiser Realty by Wyndham Vacation Rentals has been offering guests the finest Gulf Coast vacation homes and beach condos along the sugar-white sand beaches of Gulf Shores and Orange Beach, Alabama.

We stayed in one of their Lighthouse properties. It’s a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo that sleeps 8. I really like the feel of vacationing in a condo versus a hotel. You’re not at home, but having a “home” to stay in makes it feel more comfortable.

The bedrooms were really comfy and all 3 (the third had bunk beds) had TV’s in them. We didn’t actually watch the TV’s, but it was nice to have the option.

The bathrooms were really nice and the master bath even had a whirlpool tub!  Talk about a great way to end the day.

I loved having a full kitchen and the laundry room was a great surprise.

All in all the condo was perfect for our vacation in Gulf Shores.  The property also had a pool and a hot tub (which I of course took advantage of).
