Thor Dark World Red Carpet at El Capitan Theatre

I was beyond excited about attending the Red Carpet Premier for Thor: Dark World at the famous El Capitan Theatre in Los Angeles!  I am a HUGE fan of Thor! Both the character and Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor.  I actually walked right by him on the red carpet as he was signing autographs for the fans. I did *think* about tripping so he could catch me, but don’t worry, I behaved professionally and just drooled smiled as I passed by him.

Another one of my favorites from the cast is Tom, Hiddleston, who plays Loki.

Check me out! I was on the red carpet!! It was so amazing! (I got my belt in Asgard 😉 )  It was amazing to walk the carpet with the stars and see all the famous people there. I literally bumped into Nathan Fillion (Castle) but he seemed deep in conversation so I decided not to interrupt.  I did however get a chance to meet and take pics with Michael Rooker (Walking Dead).

The movie was awesome! It comes out today and I highly recommend seeing it! I had a few audible “oohs” (Chris Hemsworth has no shirt on in a scene) and “ahhhs” (I’m not going to ruin any surprises).  There were even some comical scenes.

Synopsis:

Marvel’s “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all.

Over all there was great action and a great plot. I was on the edge of my seat and was wondering how some of the situations would resolve themselves. I found myself rooting for both Thor and Loki (still haven’t figured out which “team” I’m on).

I enjoyed the movie so much that I’m going again this weekend with my Dad!
