Summer Kids Crafts and More at Kelly Gau Studio
Summer is here and if you have littles you may hear “I’m bored” or “there’s nothing to do” Well, if you’re near Southern Minnesota I have the answer to both of those – it’s Kelly Gau Studio.
I’ve shared before that the studio is my happy place where I go to relax, unwind and create.
Kelly has just moved to a new location one block over and it’s beautiful! With a new location comes even more fun. She has a 1624 event for ages 16-24 (I’m seriously considering trying to get in on that haha) , paint with a princess and more. You can stay up to date with all the events here.
I love all the detail in the design of the studio like the fun birds and quotes. Kelly got these sweet designs for the folks over at Diamond Ridge Printing.
Kelly was super sweet to invite the North Iowa bloggers to preview her brand new Kids Club. We were able to do one of the numerous crafts she’ll be offering this summer.
Kelly gave step by step directions that were easy to follow.
Miss A just turned 5 and she was able to do all of the steps.
She was having so much fun.
The groups of kids we had with us ranged from a year to about 12. One of the boys was only a few years old and even he did it. It wasn’t a heart, but he was so proud of his work.
Even though we all made the same thing there were multiple ways to make it our “own” by choosing paint color and string color. You could even choose the method of how you wrapped your nails with the string. Of course A chose all pink.
Look at that smile! She had such a good time!
And yes, even this big kid created. I had a blast too.
We all had so much fun and look how different all of ours were. It was a great night.
The Creative Kids Club is going to be so much fun! Kelly has 10 weeks with 10 projects planned.

My daughter used to go to an art studio when she was young that reminds me of Kelly Gau Studio. This looks like a lot of fun for all.

How cool is that! I love this little studio, lets kids be creative and also develop much needed skills early in life such as painting, hammering, sanding, etc. Gives bonding time with parents and their kids..love this!
