Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”.  While I rolled my eyes when my mom use to tell me that I would totally agree with it. I can’t function or make it through the day with out my breakfast.  There are some mornings when it’s really hard to get a good breakfast in. Granted, sometimes it’s my fault because I’ve hit the snooze button one too many times 😉

I love to make a healthy breakfast full of nutrition and sit down with my husband to go over the day and what we have to get done. Plus, I love any excuse to spend time with him. There are mornings that it just doesn’t work to sit down and eat a full meal and I still want us to have a nutritious breakfast to start our day.

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

I have found Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Ready-to-Drink Bottles a great solution to my hectic mornings.  I can find both in the same spot at Walmart – the breakfast aisle. Their convenience and nutrition really save the day for me on hectic mornings.

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

On mornings when my hubby is run out the door – literally – I can toss him a Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Ready-to-Drink Bottle and know he’s getting a nutritious breakfast.

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

My favorite on the go breakfast though is a Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake!! And yes it’s still nutritious and low cal!  It’s also super easy to make.

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

I start with 1 cup of milk and 6 tablespoons of the Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Powder in chocolate (package directions).

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

To it I add 2 tablespoons of sugar free, fat free, cheesecake pudding mix.

Skinny Chocolate Cheesecake Shake

Then I blend it up! I told you it was easy.

I love the thicker consistency and that it fills me up all the way until lunch time. I also really love the taste 🙂

I had just bought 2 containers of their instant breakfast, chocolate. Now I head to the store to get the cheesecake to mix with it. Thank you so much. I also like a thicker shake.

I need to start eating breakfast! I hate cooking in the mornings and I am typically not hungry enough to care but this seems so easy that I would actually make it in the mornings! Thanks so much!

Update: I have been making this but using unsweetened soy milk and it is really good. I also like it with the Hershey’s Dark chocolate pudding.
