Flora-bama’s International Songwriter’s Festival
Right on the Florida Alabama line there’s a music bar called Flora-bama. They live music and entertainment and have been around since 1962. It’s actually pretty famous.
I love music – listening and singing to it. I have my favorite singers and my favorite songs and honestly I never really thought about the songwriters. I know, it’s silly, but I just didn’t. They’re the real genius though. They’re the creators of the lyrics and music to the songs we listen to over and over.
It was really amazing to listen to them sing the songs that they wrote and the place was packed. There was barely room to walk.
It was a really neat experience that I’m so glad I got to be a part of.
