DIY Cat Station
I am a cat person. I have two precious furbabies that I adore. They each have their own personalities and love unconditionally – sometimes on their own terms, but unconditionally nonetheless.
Meet Tiger and Diesel. Tiger is a 2 year old Maine Coon and Diesel is a 1 year old Korat. I could not be happier that they are a part of my family so of course I want the best for them. They *might* be a tad spoiled 😉
I decided to make a cat station. I needed more space so it would help me stay organized and of course I needed to add some fun details for the furbabies. I started with a shelf that you can add levels too. I just used the two shelves.
I picked up some rough twine for their scratching post. And of course the cats had to help me assemble the station.
I let the one end hang down and then started wrapping at the top over the end to secure it.
As you wrap, make sure it’s wrapped tightly.
I added a fun feather toy at the top for them. This picture is a tad blurry because Tiger went crazy over the new scratching post as soon as I finished it.
I was able to put their favorite spinner toy on the bottom shelf as well as their food and water dish and the top held their food and snacks.
They love the IAMS™ dry cat food and and treats that I pick up from Walmart in the pet section every week.
They love IAMS™ Proactive Health Hairball Care Dry Cat Food because of the great chicken flavor and I love it because targets specific dietary needs.
They’re also huge fans of the IAMS™ Hairball Care and Oral Care treats in Salmon flavor.
They get so excited when I bring out the treats. The IAMS™ reformulation allows me to customize their nutrition through a well balanced lifestyle with IAMS™ dry cat food and treats.
There’s nothing better than a happy and healthy furbaby! IAMS™ is a brand that provides complete nutrition for your cat, including treats!
The boys love their new cat station. I’ve learned it can also be used as a bed because they’ve fallen asleep on it while playing. 😉

This is such a great (and adorable) idea!! When I got my first kitten my best friend’s grandpa made him an incredible “cat house ” complete with a ramp and everything! That was by far the coolest cat accessory I’ve ever had for my furbabies! 🙂

I’ve never seen a real Maine Coon before & honestly, hand on heart, have never even heard of a Korat before! They’re beautiful! We have a Siamese & 2 long-hair British Blue & Creams as well as a rescue moggie who’s jet black with yellow eyes and we can’t leave ANY food around with him!

We made something like this when we had a cat. They love to be up on a perch.
