Dinner at The Pub on the Cedar

If you told me there was only one food I could eat for the rest of my life I’d pick chicken wings. I know, it’s nothing fancy, but it truly is my favorite thing to eat.

Our first evening in Charles City, IA we ate dinner at The Pub on the Cedar.

We started out with some delicious appetizers like this buffalo chicken dip! It was so good!

The spinach and artichoke dip was also amazing and very different than any other spinach artichoke dip I’ve ever had.  It had tomatoes and everything. It was really good!

Of course, I ordered the wings. They had this amazing bourbon sauce.  I will say I didn’t care for the breading that was on them so next time I’ll get what my friend got …

… the bourbon burger! I could put that bourbon sauce on everything!

Everyone was raving about their meals and the prices were fantastic!  The atmosphere was really great as well and the place was packed.

There were also peanut butter cupcakes for dessert! Check out this sugary goodness!
