Tasty Apple Dip – The Perfect Fall Treat
I love being a part of the #NorthIowaBloggers for so many reasons and I’m so appreciative that they’re helping me out while I’m on vacation. My good friend, Beth Ann, over at It’s Just Life is sharing her Tasty Apple Dip with us today!
Fall brings apples of all shapes, colors and sizes. I love apples and love the choices that are available locally both at local orchards and in the grocery stores. An apple is perfect all by itself but when paired with a delightful dip it makes it even better! I served this wonderful combo at my recent blogger gathering and it was a hit.
Tasty Apple Dip
- 2 blocks cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tub caramel
- 1 package heath bar crumbles ( I used a combination of two kinds–milk chocolate and Bits o’ Brickle)
- 6 large apples–your favorite variety
- Combine cream cheese, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in mixing bowl and mix with electric mixer on medium low speed.
- Spread evenly on plate or whatever you are serving the dip on.
- Warm caramel just enough to make it easy to spread, stir and spread evenly over cream cheese mixture.
- Finish with sprinkling Heath bar crumbles on top.
- Cut up apples and eat immediately or mix with 1 TBSP lemon juice to prevent them from getting brown.
You can never go wrong with this simple and easy dish and the great thing is that it makes a lot so you have plenty to go around.

This dip is so yummy. I’m not usually a sweet dip person, but this was addicting. Love the toffee pieces.
