Mermaid Party Ideas to Throw the Perfect Mermaid Party

I’ve got some great Mermaid Party Ideas for you. I don’t know about you, but when I was a little girl I totally pretended that I was Mermaid when I would go swimming. How cool would it be to have a tail and glide through the water? I know I can’t be the only one to have that thought. In fact, my niece dreams of being a mermaid too.

Check out this smile! This is my niece Lily in her mermaid tail from Fin Fun. She was ecstatic to put on her tail and even more ecstatic when we decided to have a mermaid themed party for her and her cousin Becca.

So how do you throw an epic Mermaid party? Well great Mermaid and under water themed food is a great start.  How about fish and chips? And yes, it’s as easy as it sounds!  Grab some fish crackers and your favorite chips and mix them up.

These beach bear yogurt cups were also a hit! We took blue yogurt, topped it with crushed vanilla cookies, put in two sunbathing bear cookies, and topped it with an umbrella. You can find all sorts of food ideas over at Fin Fun’s Pinterest page.

And of course for a Mermaid party you really need Mermaids!

We love the tails from Fin Fun. They feel just like bathing suit material and they’re super easy to put on and swim with.

Plus, how great do the girls look?! It’s like we had real Mermaids!

I think their brothers may have been slightly jealous, but no worries Fin Fun even sells shark fins on their site!

The girls had such a great party and the best thing is they can be mermaids every time they swim with their Fin Fun Tales.
