Meet Baymax – BigHero 6 is in Theaters Today – #BigHero6Event

Are you ready to #MeetBaymax?  He’s a cute and cuddly marshmallow robot that I just wanted to hug!  The story of Big Hero 6 is more than just the story of a boy and his robot.  In true Disney form there is so much more to the story. It’s an emotional story about family, friendship, and inner strength. I was laughing, cheering, and even tearing up through the movie.

With out giving too much away it takes a bunch of friends and turns them into super heroes.  What I love is these friends are all nerds. I can say that because I’m a total nerd too. I was a Chem major and I love science.  This movie shows that scientists and roboticists are cool too (because we are!).  They turn their strengths (smarts) into their super hero powers.

I love super hero movies, in fact their probably my favorite movie genre. Let’s face it though, I’m pretty sure I’m not going to be bitten by a genetically enhanced spider or hit with a gamma ray (and survive).  These super heroes become amazing because of who they are. I think that is a great message for kids.  This movie is fantastic for all ages and I can’t wait to see it again.

Also in true Marvel form, stay to the end! I mean sit through the credits – you will thank me for it.
