Make your own Personalized Glasses
Do you have a favorite mug or cup for your drinks? I do. I drink out of the same mug every morning and I have a “go to” travel cup that I like. Both have stories behind them and those stories are why the cups are my favorite.
That’s why I love giving personalized gifts.
My hubby loves sparkling water so I decided to a make a personalized glass so he can use it when he makes his drinks with our new SodaStream. The three fizz levels provide the opportunity for the ultimate in drink personalization. I love that I can make my water a little bubbly and he likes that he can add more bubbles with our SodaStream Power Automatic Sparkling Water Maker. We both have different faves out of the Drink Mixes too. My favorites are Berry Mix and Cranberry Raspberry. Myles likes the Blackcurrant Lime and the Lime Basil. Other flavors available are Coriander Apple Blossom and Pear.
SodaStream helps the two of us embrace a healthier lifestyle by providing a simple, fun and sustainable way to enjoy beverages that are better for you. It’s a convenient solution and it has a sophisticated, sleek design. You can purchase a SodaStream as well as check out their latest offers here. Sodastreamusa.com offers free shipping on all orders over $50.
There are a few ways to do the etching. I found some stickers and stencils to use.
I also got actual etching stencils. You will want to have a paint brush and of course Armour Etch. It is the secret ingredient.
The stickers were the easiest method for sure. All you have to do is stick them on and then apply the etching cream.
The etching stencils were harder to apply. I had to rub them off with the wooden stick they provided. It also too quite a bit longer.
You do have to line up all the letters, but they create more of a seal on the glass then the stickers do.
You just apply the etching cream over the stencils. Where ever the cream touches the glass it will etch it. You leave it on for about one minute then rinse it off.
The possibilities are endless!

I love being able to make gifts for loved ones. I think the last time I etched glasses was for our bridal party’s drink glasses! And I’ve never tried sparkling water before!
