My favorite part of Christmas is making memories baking cookies with my daughter and the joy on her face as she opens her gifts
I love to bake dozens of cookies with my daughters over the weeks leading up to Christmas. The house is always warm and smells like a bakery during that time. Flour, icing, and sprinkles everywhere is part of the magic. Special memories are always made, and handing our friends and family our love all wrapped up is a feeling I cherish.
I always get extra time off from work during the holidays, which gives me more time to spend with my parents and kids. I love that time because we always make such great memories during that time.
Seeing all of the bright beautiful smiling faces of my loved ones during the holiday season.
Spending time with family and attending my church’s candlelight service on Christmas Eve. So beautiful, and shows the true meaning of Christmas.

The bright lights, green trees and ornaments galore. Just wish I was able to decorate as I did when I was younger but old age has a way of catching up. My very favorite would have been the ceramic villages decorating every spare inch of my house. Oh how I yearn for days gone by.

I love watching the grandkids eyes light up when opening gifts and the way they get excited trying to guess what is in a gift.
My favorite thing about Christmas is seeing my kids’ faces light up when someone opens a gift from them. They’re 11, 6, and 5 and they make gifts for each other and their grandparents and let me tell you, as much as they love getting presents themselves (and they do, lol), they look ten times as joyful when someone else loves a gift they made for them. It warms my heart more than any cup of cocoa.
