Blue Man Group – Dare to Live in Full Color

My sisters and I took a weekend trip to Orlando and our very first evening we spent at City Walk. We had tickets to see the Blue Man Group and had dinner later that evening there.

We got all dressed up and headed to City Walk. Parking is $20 or free if you’re a Florida resident. Thankfully my sisters are FL residents.  We parked and walked through security into city walk.

None of us had attended a show by the Blue Man Group before. My one sister, Diane, was really excited and honestly I had no idea what to expect.

Blue Man Group is comedy, theater, rock concert and dance party all rolled into one. This wildly popular phenomenon delivers an unforgettable, multi-sensory experience. It’s an outrageous evening of entertainment. See the show that has captivated 35 million people worldwide.

They are very interactive and put on a family friendly show for all ages. We had a good time and were quite entertained.

My sisters and I all agreed that if we came again we’d pay for the “splash zone” seats. They’re the first free.  Now, there are no bad seats in the theater, but when you’re in the upper section you won’t be picked for the stage and the balls that fall from the sky never make it back.

They were really good at getting the audience involved and I found myself laughing quite a bit through the program.

You are able to buy concessions and beverages (alcoholic as well) at the event and the show runs for almost 2 hours.

We had a great time and my sister is already talking about taking her 3 kids to it.
