5 Easy Steps to Create Your Own Website
It seems that every one now a days has their own website. I mean you’re here reading this post on my site. Some are for businesses and others are just to share your passions and photos with others. Whatever the reason is you too can have your own website and it’s easier to build {on your own!} than you’d think.
1. Have your vision.
What do you want a website for? Are you selling something? Do you want to share pictures from your last family vacation?
2. Head over to GoDaddy
Did you know that GoDaddy does more than just sell domains? While they are the leading name in domains with more than 14 million people served they also provide hosting and web design. In fact you can get a 1 month free trial of GoDaddy’s GoCentral Website Builder.
I have been taking photos of my family and friends for years and decided to try my hand at a simple photography site with my work and it couldn’t have been easier. You can scroll through templates and pick the one that you like best.
3. Upload Pictures.
I was able to upload pictures to the template and choose how I wanted them displayed making it totally personal. I love that I didn’t need to know how to code anything.
4. Edit
Literally everything is customizable. I was able to change the wording and more making it completely my own.
5. Publish
When you’re done you simply publish it. Here’s what I was able to create in less than an hour. I love how clean it looks.
So now that you know it’s so easy what will you be designing?!
You can get your free month trial of GoDaddy’s GoCentral Website Builder here. Don’t take too long though because it’s only free* for a limited time. April 10th to be exact.
*The Free Trial is an opportunity for you to use a GoDaddy product free of charge for one (1) month, beginning on the date that you accept the Free Trial offer. The Free Trial will expire one (1) month from the date you accept the Free Trial offer, regardless of whether or not you use the product during the Free Trial period. Free trial not available in all markets.
