Taking a Road Trip in the Mazda 3
My sisters and I decided to take a weekend trip and head to Orlando, FL. It’s been awhile since we’ve hung out just the 4 of us and we were really looking forward to it. Orlando is about a 3 and a half drive from Fort Lauderdale where my sisters live.
We drove up to Orlando in a 2016 Mazda 3. The car was not only pretty to look out, but very comfy.
It sat 4 adults very comfortably and it had a sun roof which was very fun.
I was also super impressed with the trunk space. While we were only on a 3 day weekend get away we all tend to over pack and we could fit all of our luggage in the trunk.
We used the built in GPS to find our hotel and all of the attractions near by. We also took advantage of the bluetooth which allowed us to play Pandora on our road trip.
As the driver I appreciated all my controls on the steering wheel so I could keep my eyes on the road.
My favorite features were the sensors in the side mirrors. They had a little light that came on when there was a car in my blind spot and if I didn’t notice that light and used my blinker a warning signal would go off. The other feature I loved was the cruise control. If a car cut you off (which happened a lot while driving in Florida) then the cruise would slow down so you were a safe distance from the car in front of you.
Even my two sisters that were in the back seat had plenty of room and were comfortable.
The gas mileage was also fantastic. We made it from Fort Lauderdale to Orlando and drove around on one tank of gas which only cost us $30!
If you’re looking for a new ride, I highly suggest checking out the Mazda 3!

We are huge Mazda fans and this is the first time in our married life that we have not had one in our garage. Chris and I both have those great features in our current cars like the adaptive cruise feature and the blind spot warning and love them! Plus your car was my fav color!
