Heelys are the two-in-one shoe that lets you take life at your own pace. With the wheels out, the stylish designs perform and look just like any other shoe. We got the Heelys Wave shoes. I did not tell Jayden that he was getting Heelys. He has been asking for them for the longest time. Instead, when they came in I just surprised him with them. He was so excited! He popped the wheels in and headed outside!

He was actually quite comical at first. It kind of reminded you of watching a baby deer try to walk just after he’s born. He picked it up very quickly though. He was a “pro” within about 20 minutes. The wheels are removable, but his thoughts are “why would anyone not want them in?” They are a lot of fun! Yes, he’s 9 and I’m 35, but we wear the same size shoe! I did not pick it up as fast, but I think that has more to do with my lack of coordination. He loves the shoes!
